okay. so.
posting this was really hard. nudity is a part of art, and that's what this is. art. and i'm aware there are those people who will interpret it differently, and there's nothing i can do about that. the point of this photo is not that i'm not wearing clothes. all i ask is be mature, and be respectful.

first things first

my camera arrived in the mail. or should i say, patrick's camera. the kindness of somebody i've never met has completely saved my sanity. i'm the luckiest girl in the world, and he's the kindest guy i've ever had the priveledge of knowing. so, for the trillionth time, THANK YOU PATRICK.

happiness is driving in the country at 5 am while the sun is rising, listening to this song very loudly, with my dog in the passenger seat enjoying the wind in her face.

dawn is my favorite, i get this amazing feeling like the entire world is still sleeping and i'm the only one alive. and the light is perfect. i'm so fucking happy right now.

there's something so fucking awesome about seeing your photos made into prints. even these dinky little 4 x 6's make me happy :) after only seeing them on a computer screen for so long it's great to have them in a form i can hold in my hand.

so for everybody that won a print in my contest, i'm mailing them today :)

on another note- THREE DAYS TILL I HAVE A WORKING CAMERA AGAIN :D :D :D.

i'm beginning to realize

how heavily i rely on having a camera. how much the lack of one affects my attitude and my daily routine. i'm a little bit miserable. it's just a material object right? stop bitching emma.

but seriously. what the fuck.

was much messier than i was anticipating. after showering, i'm still finding it stuck to me. i didn't like these half as much as i was hoping. gonna try again.

didn't have much time to shoot tonight before it started raining too hard :/ these have got the whole grainy-too-dark thing going on and i dislike that but too late to fix it now i suppose.

i guess being forced to wakeup at 7am has it's perks. morning dew is gorgeous, i'm definitely going to do something else with this later this week.

i did not, repeat, did not photoshop that dandelion. it is just a mutant. i saw it growing on the side of the road and promptly pulled over to document it. it's now hanging from my rear view mirror, i couldn't bring myself to ruin it, even though i'm sure my wish would come true. i mean look at it.

there's no better way to kick off your summer than by trespassing and then explaining to your friendly local law enforcement why you're doing so. all while continuously sneezing because apparently you're allergic to hay.
