five strangers

for one of my final projects i was challenged to simply do the opposite of what i focused on all semester (staged, manipulated, self portraits). this led to me walking up to strangers in the public market and sheepishly asking if i could take their photo. many people opted out and everybody seemed a little bit confused, but overall it was a pretty good experience.
i wish i could have used every photo taken, but my limit was five, and many of the photos i took were not as sharp as i would have wanted due to the low lighting, so if you are one of these strangers visiting and looking for your photo, please don't be offended if you don't see yourself!

didn't edit this at all. there's a huge lighted christmas tree in the middle of the park across the street from my school, it's gorgeous. i was crouching down to take this photo, and a police officer ran over because he thought i fell and was hurt. that was pretty funny. (:
